‘Tu Hwnt / Beyond 2’ is the second in a series of engravings that imagine a view up Bwlch Llanberis in North Wales. The buildings in the print are half-imagined and half-remembered from elsewhere.
The engraving was made from lemonwood and I have hand-burnished each print in the edition to hand-torn sheets of 250 gsm white Somerset Satin paper. The sheets measure approximately 15 x 15 cm. The ink used is Hawthorn Stay Open carbon black.
