Living on the coast of North Wales, I am blessed with sea and sky. In We flee to some far corner I have a sought to capture something of their movement, recalling the sky over Pen Llŷn one winter day when the clouds were seemingly sucked out to sea.
I have worked the drawing in willow charcoal and charcoal pencil on a half sheet of 300 gsm textured Somerset Satin paper. It is hinge-mounted in a conservation grade mount for shipping. The drawing can easily be removed from the mount.
