Charcoal drawing

Sometimes words are redundant. I played around with a good many titles for this drawing but all of them seemed to take it away from itself. Untitled seemed work — the wordlessness of it. So too Untitled (there are no words). I settled on the latter as it leaves room for more untitled work.
The drawing was made using both compressed charcoal and willow charcoal. I created a ground with two tints of sanguine charcoal over which I worked willow charcoal and a dark compressed charcoal. The paper is a heavy weight acid-free 220 gsm Daler cartridge paper.
